آرون تشارلز كارتر  (من مواليد 7 ديسمبر 1987)  هو مغني أمريكي. وهو الشقيق الأصغر لنيك كارتر من فرقة باكستريت بويز. أصبح مشهورا كمغني بوب وهيب هوب في أواخر ال 1990، جاعلا من نفسه نجما بين جمهور المراهقين والأصغر سنا من المراهقين في أوائل سنة 2000. كارتر الذي بدأ أيضا مهنة التمثيل، ومعروف في الوسط الإعلامي أخباره الشخصية، بما فيها علاقته بهيلاري داف وليندسي لوهان، ومشاكله القانونية والتي يتعلق البعض منها بوالدته

بداية حياته
ولد كارتر في مستشفي تامبا العام في تامبا بفلوريدا،  حيث كان يدير والديه دارا للمسنين تسمي جاردن فيلا، أصل الأسرة من شمال نيويورك، حيث ولد أخيه نيك.يحمل كارتر اسم جده لامه دوغلاس "تشارلز" سبولدينج واسم جده لوالده (آرون كارتر تشارلز).

بجانب شقيقه الأكبر نيك، فهو لديه أيضا ثلاث شقيقات : أخواته التوأم إنجيل (عارضة)، بي جي وليسلي. وله أيضا أخت غير شقيقة أكبر منه سنا اسمها جينجر، من زواج أبيه الأول، ، وأخ أضغر غير شقيق يدعي كايدن (من زواج أبيه الجديد).كما أن لديه أخت أصغر منه سنا ابنة زوجة أبيه الجديدة، تدعي تيلين.وقال كارتر ان المزاج العام في منزله كان غالبا ما يشهد توترا بسبب طلاق والديه. وغالبا ما كان يتشاجر والديه حول أمواله ويكون كارتر غالبا في وسط الشجار، محاولا إيقافه.كما يتذكر كارترأنه كان يدفع للعمل في أعمال العروض الفنية عندما كان صغيرًا جدا.

يوم 21 مارس 2006، قامت شركة الإنتاج ترانس كونتنينتال برفع دعوي قضائية ضد كارتر في محكمة لوس انجلوس القضائية العليا، مشيرة إلى أن كارتر يزعم تراجعه عن اتفاق بشأن تسجيل أغنية.وقع كارتر علي العقد في 7 ديسمبر 2004 عندما كان 17 سنة ودون السن القانوني.وبعد مرور عام، أخطر محاميه شركة التسجيلات ان كارتر يملك الحق في "إلغاء أو إبطال مختلف الاتفاقات" التي وقع عليها عندما كان قاصرا.

كارتر كان واحدا من العديد من الفنانين ليقوم بتسجيل اغنية في ألبوم DisneyMania. وسجل كارتر "لا استطيع ان انتظر ان أكون ملكا" "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" منThe Lion King.

Aaron Charles Carter[6] (born December 7, 1987)[6] is an American singer. He first came to fame as a pop and hip hop singer in the late 1990s, establishing himself as a star among pre-teen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st century[7] with his four studio albums.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Carter began performing at age seven and released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at age 9, selling a million copies worldwide. His second album Aaron's Party (Come Get It) (2000) sold three million copies in the United States, and Carter began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon and touring with the Backstreet Boys shortly after the record's release.[8] Carter's next album, Oh Aaron, also went platinum, and the musician released what would be his last studio album for 16 years, Another Earthquake!, in 2002, followed by his 2003 Most Requested Hits collection.

He has since appeared on Dancing with the Stars, the Broadway musical Seussical, the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks, and made several one-off performances.[9] In 2014, he announced that he would begin releasing new music[10] and began by releasing a single featuring rapper Pat SoLo, "Ooh Wee",[11] which first became available as a free download with purchase on his web store.[12] Carter released a single, "Fool's Gold", on April 1, 2016 and an EP titled LøVë on February 10, 2017. Early life
Aaron Charles Carter was born on December 7, 1987, at the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, where his parents, Jane Elizabeth (née Spaulding) and Robert Gene Carter (1952-2017),[13] ran the Garden Villa Retirement Home. The family was originally from New York City, where his older brother Nick, of the boy band Backstreet Boys, was born. In addition to his brother Nick, he also has three sisters: twin sister Angel (a model), B.J. and Leslie (1986–2012). Carter is named after his paternal grandfather, Aaron Charles Carter, and his maternal grandfather, Douglas "Charles" Spaulding. Carter attended the Frank D. Miles Elementary School and the Ruskin School in Florida.[14]

Music career
1997–1999: Music beginnings and self-titled debut album
Carter began his performing career at the age of seven, as the lead singer of Dead End, a local band formed after the members met at a rock school that they attended in Tampa.[15] He left the band after two years because they were interested in alternative rock while Carter was interested in pop.[15]

Carter made his first solo appearance, singing a cover of The Jets' "Crush on You", when opening for the Backstreet Boys in Berlin in March 1997.[16] The performance was followed by a record contract, and in the fall of 1997, he released his first single, "Crush on You". His first full-length album was released on December 1, 1997. The eponymous debut album achieved gold status in Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada, and Germany, and was released in the United States on June 16, 1998.

2000–2002: Aaron's Party (Come Get It), acting debut, and Oh Aaron
Carter's next album, Aaron's Party (Come Get It) was released in the United States on September 26, 2000 under the Jive label. The album sold more than three million copies in the United States and was certified 3x platinum by RIAA.[17][18] The album included the hit singles, "I Want Candy", "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)", "That's How I Beat Shaq" and "Bounce", which songs received airplay on Disney and Nickelodeon. He also made several guest appearances on Nickelodeon and performed as opening act in several concerts for Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys. In December of that year the album went platinum and he began dating teen actress Hilary Duff.

In March 2001, he made his acting debut, guest starring on an episode of the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire. That same month, he and fellow teen star Samantha Mumba performed a concert in MGM studios live on Disney Channel, titled Aaron Carter and Samantha Mumba in Concert. Aaron's part of the concert was released to DVD that same month as Aaron's Party: Live in Concert. In April 2001, he made his Broadway debut, playing JoJo the Who in Seussical the Musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

At the age of 13, Carter recorded the album Oh Aaron, which was released on August 7, 2001 and featured his first duet recording with his brother, Nick, and a duet with the new group at the time, No Secrets. Play Along Toys also created an Aaron Carter action figure in conjunction with the album's release.[19] Oh Aaron also went platinum that same year and a live concert at Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was released to DVD as Oh Aaron: Live In Concert.

2002–2008: Another Earthquake, lawsuits, relationships, Most Requested Hits, Saturday Night and House of Carters
Carter's next album, Another Earthquake!, was released on September 3, 2002, during the "Rock, Rap, and Retro" tour. The album featured the patriotic-themed "America A.O." and the ballad "Do You Remember". He guest starred on three episodes of the Nickelodeon TV show, All That and sang the theme song to the PBS animated series Liberty's Kids, titled "Through my own Eyes."

During that time, Carter's parents filed a lawsuit against his former manager, Lou Pearlman (now deceased), in 2002 alleging failure to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties on Carter's 1998 album, which was released through Pearlman's label and production company, Trans Continental. On March 13, 2003, Pearlman was declared in contempt of court for ignoring a court order to produce documents relating to royalty payments.[20]

Carter had also dated Lindsay Lohan along with his girlfriend Hilary Duff at the same time (leading to a feud between the two), but he broke up with Lohan in April 2003, and resumed dating Duff. Later, that same year, he and Duff ended their on-and-off relationship after two years.[21] Carter's Most Requested Hits, a collection including tracks from his last three albums as well as a new single, "One Better", was released on November 3, 2003.

"Saturday Night", which was released on March 22, 2005 and was promoted by Carter during his summer 2005 Remix Tour. The song was released by Trans Continental label, with Lou Pearlman as executive producer. The single was also featured in the soundtrack of the film Popstar, in which Carter starred. The direct-to-video film was based heavily on his own life as a performer. A real-life motocross racer, Carter also appeared in 2005's Supercross. On March 21, 2006, Trans Continental filed a lawsuit against Carter within the Los Angeles Superior Court, citing that Carter allegedly reneged on a recording deal. Carter had signed the contract on December 7, 2004, when he was 17 and underage. His attorney however stated that Carter had the right to "cancel or void various agreements" that were signed when he was a minor.[22]

Carter and his siblings starred in a reality show, House of Carters, which ran in October–November 2006 on E!. The series features all five Carter siblings reuniting to live in the same house.[7] On September 18, 2006, it was reported that Carter was engaged to former beauty queen and Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche.[23][24] US Weekly later reported that Carter had broken off his engagement to Peniche, saying he was impulsive in proposing to her.
In June 2014, Carter went on an 11-city Canadian tour during which he performed new songs from his upcoming album. Carter also announced that he would be embarking on a worldwide tour entitled the Wonderful World Tour, named for a song titled "Wonderful World" off of his upcoming album.[40] The tour included 50 dates and ran from September 2014 until January 2015.[41] In July, Carter appeared on Good Day LA, where he performed "Ooh Wee",[42] a single featuring Pat SoLo.[43] In February 2015, Carter released an EP through SoundCloud titled The Music Never Stopped.[44]

On January 31, 2016, Carter released his music video for "Curious" [45] under the name Kid Carter, co-directed by MDM Media's Michael D. Monroe, Ben Epstein and Aaron Carter.

In April 2016, Carter released the single "Fool's Gold".[46] Another single, "Sooner or Later", was released in January 2017.[47] Both songs appeared on the EP LØVË, released in February 2017,[48] written by Carter, Jon Asher, Melanie Fontana, Taylor "Lakestreet Louie" Helgeson, and Michel Schulz,[49] produced and independently released by Carter on his new venture Rakkaus Records.[50] An album of the same name was released on February 16, 2018.[citation needed]

Personal life
On February 21, 2008, Carter was arrested in Kimble County, Texas, when he was pulled over for speeding, and authorities found less than two ounces of marijuana in his car.[51]

On November 22, 2013, Carter filed a bankruptcy petition to shed more than $3.5 million in debt,[52] mostly taxes owed from the money made at the height of his popularity.[53] "This is not a negative thing," Carter publicist Steve Honig told CNN. "It's actually very positive. It's him doing what he needs to do to move forward."[53] The petition states that Carter's biggest creditor is the U.S. government; "he owes the Internal Revenue Service $1.3 million in back taxes from his income in 2003, when Carter was just 16."[53] Carter settled all of his tax debt in 2014.[54]

On July 15, 2017, Carter was arrested in Georgia on suspicion of driving under the influence and marijuana charges according to law enforcement.[55] Later in July 2017, Carter discussed his health issues, namely a hiatal hernia and lactose intolerance.

Carter initially came out as bisexual via Twitter, on August 5, 2017.[56] However, in 2018, he retracted his statement of bisexuality, calling it "misconstrued" and saying "I see myself being with a woman and having kids. I want to have a family”.[57] In August 2019, Carter reiterated his bisexuality on his Twitter, saying while he only had relationships with women, he was also attracted to men. In February 2019 it was reported Aaron had purchased a home in Lancaster, California.[58]

In September 2017, Carter appeared on The Doctors, a syndicated health-focused talk show, to discuss public attention generated by his gaunt appearance and drug-related arrests.[59] A thorough series of tests and examinations revealed Carter was not suffering from cancer or any sexually transmitted disease, but he did have a candida infection which can be a sign of a weakened immune system. Carter tested negative for illegal drugs, but tested positive for "a mixture of benzodiazepines with opiates", a potentially dangerous combination of prescription medications that Carter said he took for anxiety and sleep. He was malnourished and underweight at 115 pounds (52 kg), with a body mass index of 17 (a BMI of 18.5 to 25 is normal range). Carter was advised to enter a drug rehabilitation program and remain under medical care.

Carter subsequently admitted himself to Alo House, a treatment center in Malibu, California. In February 2018, Carter reported improvement in his condition including therapy for coping with the May 2017 death of his father and a later breakup with a longtime girlfriend, that his weight was a healthier 160 pounds (75.5 kg).[60]

Martin Lewis

Martin Steven Lewis OBE (born 9 May 1972 in Manchester, England) is an English journalist and television presenter. He founded the website MoneySavingExpert.com.
Early life and education
Lewis was born at Withington Hospital in Manchester in 1972. His family lived in the Manchester suburb of Didsbury. While still a child, Lewis moved with his family to the village of Norley near Delamere Forest in rural Cheshire where his father was appointed headmaster of Delamere Forest School; a Jewish school for students with special educational needs.[1] He lost his mother in a car accident during his childhood, and in later life became a patron of the children's bereavement charity Grief Encounter and an advocate for life insurance.[2]

Lewis attended the King's School, a private school in Chester.[3] Lewis went on to read government and law at the London School of Economics. In 1997, Lewis became a postgraduate student in broadcast journalism at Cardiff University's Centre for Journalism Studies. In 2013, Lewis was given an honorary doctorate in business administration from the University of Chester.

Career
Early career
After graduating, Lewis was the general secretary of the LSE Students' Union. He then went to work in the City of London for the Brunswick Group, a financial communications consultancy.[4]

Lewis also tried stand-up comedy, with material written by his university friend Gary Delaney.

TV and radio
After graduating in journalism at Cardiff University, Lewis became a producer for the BBC Business Unit working on the BBC Radio Five Live business programmes and as an editor of BBC Radio 4's Today programme business slot.[4][5]

Lewis then moved to satellite channel Simply Money, fronted by Angela Rippon, where he cultivated his "Money Saving Expert" persona.[5] From the outset, the channel suffered poor viewing figures and its main backer, Invest TV Resources, withdrew their support in March 2001. Almost all of its 51 staff, including Lewis, lost their jobs.[6]

After the collapse of Simply Money, Lewis contributed to a "Deal of the Week" column in the Sunday Express. Lewis also presented "Money Saving Expert" slots on Channel 5's daytime show, Open House with Gloria Hunniford.

Lewis returned to the BBC to work as a business and personal finance reporter for the Corporation's BBC One Breakfast News.[7]

In 2005, Lewis presented a daytime television series on ITV called Make Me Rich and in 2008 and a peak time programme on Five called It Pays to Watch!.[8] Lewis has also presented money special editions for ITV's Tonight and has featured as a "Money Saving Expert" on several other magazine programmes including Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.

Lewis currently appears on ITV's This Morning, Channel 5's The Wright Stuff and as an occasional guest on other news and magazine programmes. In 2012, he began co-presenting The Martin Lewis Money Show, alongside Saira Khan.


Money Saving Expert

In October 2002, Martin appeared in the Meridian Trust's (now Public Service Broadcasting Trust) live Spotlight Programme "Save yourself a fortune" on ITV Meridian as their Money Saving Expert for the first time. The programme subsequently won the Royal Television Society Educational Award – 2002 Campaigns and Seasons.[9]

Lewis created and runs the website MoneySavingExpert.com (MSE), which was originally designed for a cost of just £100 in February 2003.[10] In September 2012 he sold the website to the Moneysupermarket.com group for up to £87m, while remaining editor-in-chief. The deal saw Lewis receive £35m cash upfront in addition to 22.1m shares in Moneysupermarket.com and £27m in future payments.[11] He simultaneously announced his intention to give £10m to charity, of which £1m would go to Citizens Advice.[12]

In July 2015 Lewis sold just over half his shareholding in Moneysupermarket.com, obtained in the sale of Money Saving Expert, for £25.2 million.[13] On the back of this, he donated a further £1m to Citizens Advice and £500,000 each to The Trussell Trust and the Personal Finance Education Group to fund financial triage and education work.[14]

On 23 April 2018 it was announced that Lewis would be suing social media giant Facebook for defamation over fake adverts using his face and name, mostly promoting "bitcoin" and "investing".

Controversy
Unauthorised business promotion
In 2010, Martin Lewis was a presenter on GMTV with Lorraine, a weekday morning chat show. The programme includes a regular feature called "Deals of the Week". Ofcom investigated a complaint that the programme promoted MoneySavingExpert.com, a website owned and run by Lewis as a commercial enterprise.

Lewis denied any wrongdoing, and continues to do so. However, the Ofcom report concluded: "By inviting viewers to obtain further information and vouchers on the GMTV website, and then re-directing them to Martin Lewis' commercial website to obtain that information, the programme was effectively promoting his business. As a result of this promotion, the programme was in breach of Rule 10.3 of the Code."[15][16]

No action was taken against Lewis.

Campaigns
Bank charges
In late 2005, campaigns against what were claimed to be unfair bank charges gained momentum and a few small websites started to highlight the issue. Lewis was at the forefront of the media campaign to reclaim what he states are unfair and unlawful fees charged by UK banks. He presented the first mainstream television programme on how to get your money back (ITV1's Tonight) and in November 2006 published a step-by-step guide, including template letters as well as regularly appearing across the media to champion the issue.[17]

His campaign suffered a major setback in November 2009 when the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom ruled that the charges imposed by banks formed part of their fees for current account services and could not be assessed for fairness under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations.[18] Lewis, along with and other consumer groups, hired Ray Cox QC (a barrister with previous experience of banking cases)[19] to look into new legal arguments for account holders wishing to reclaim charges, which might possibly use regulation 5 of the Unfair Terms act as suggested by the Supreme Court Judgement.[20] This attempt suffered a further setback when, on 22 December 2009, the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) issued a statement saying that it had decided against taking forward such an investigation because it "would have a very limited scope and low prospects of success".[21] Lewis published updated template letters allowing individuals to attempt to recover bank charges on financial hardship grounds on 2 February 2010,[22] and information regarding claims on legal grounds made via courts was published on 24 February 2010.

Energy bills
In summer 2008, Lewis appeared on several television and radio programmes exhorting consumers to "cap your energy bills now", based on the prediction that there would be a further round of price increases at the end of 2008.[23] "Capping prices" involved consumers locking themselves into rates higher than prevailing un-capped rates. After that point British Gas announced an increase of 30% on its un-capped prices, though in January 2009 UK energy companies' un-capped prices were reduced by up to 10%.

Information published by uSwitch, a price comparison site whose business motivation is to encourage frequent switching between energy suppliers, after the price cuts, in February 2009, suggested that "Those who were savvy enough to sign up to a competitive fixed-price plan last summer, before some increases in wholesale energy were passed on, are sitting pretty as prices would need to drop by 16% on average before it would be worth moving"[24] but failed to be clear about which specific capped deals it was basing this assertion on, and when it was sensible to have committed to a capped rate deal.

Student finance
In 2011, Lewis launched the Independent Taskforce on Student Finance Information with former National Union of Students president Wes Streeting and backed by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, to provide information to potential students about the changes to tuition fees and student loans resulting from the Browne Review.[25] After subtle changes to student loan repayments were announced in the Autumn Statement of 2015, Lewis appealed directly to the Prime Minister and engaged lawyers to investigate. He asserted that freezing the repayment threshold would represent a retroactive hike in student loan costs that could "destroy any trust" that students have in the student finance and political systems.[26]

Mental health and debt
In 2016, Lewis launched and provided funding for the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, a think tank directed by former Liberal Democrat adviser Polly Mackenzie to study the link between mental health issues and debt.[27]

Others
Lewis's other large scale campaigns, with ensuing television programmes, include reclaiming payment protection insurance (it is predicted that this may grow to the same scale as bank charge reclaiming).[28]

Recognition
Lewis became a Governor of the London School of Economics in 2008. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2014 Birthday Honours for services to consumer rights and to charitable services through the MSE Charity Fund.[29][30]

Personal life
Lewis is married to long-time partner, former 5 News weather presenter Lara Lewington.[31] They were married on 31 May 2009. She gave birth to their daughter in November 2012.[32]

Lewis is Jewish and practises the Jewish faith.[31][33]

Braut Håland

Erling Braut Håland (anglicised to Haaland; born 21 July 2000) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a striker for Austrian Football Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Norway national team.
Club career
Bryne
He joined the academy of Bryne FK. During the 2015–16 seasons, Håland played for the reserve side Bryne FK 2 where he impressed scoring 18 goals in 14 games.[2] His performances for the Reserve side led him to his senior debut, 15 years of age, Håland made his Bryne debut on 12 May 2016 in a 1. divisjon match against Ranheim.[3] Whilst at Bryne, he also had an unsuccessful trial at German Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Håland played 16 games for Bryne.[2]

Molde
On 1 February 2017, Molde FK announced the signing of Erling Braut Håland.[4] He made his debut on 26 April 2017 in the Norwegian Cup match against Volda TI. Håland scored his first goal for Molde in his debut in the 3–2 win against Volda.[5] His league debut came on 4 June 2017 when he came in as a substitute in the 71st minute against Sarpsborg 08. He received a yellow card after 65 seconds on the pitch.[6] Håland scored the winner in the 77th minute, a goal which was his first Eliteserien goal.

On 1 July 2018, Håland scored 4 goals against Brann within the first 21 minutes of the game, securing his team a 4–0 away win over the unbeaten league leaders at the time. The hat-trick was scored in 11 minutes and 2 seconds and all four goals in 17 minutes and 4 seconds. A Manchester United scout was present at the match.[7] Molde FK manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær after the game compared Håland style of play to Romelu Lukaku and revealed the club had rejected several bids for Håland from different clubs.[8]

In the following game on 8 July, Håland continued his scoring run when he scored two goals and gained an assist in the 5–1 victory against Vålerenga.[9] Håland scored in Molde's 3–0 UEFA Europa League victory against KF Laçi in a 3–0 win on 26 July.[10]

Red Bull Salzburg
On 19 August 2018, Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg announced that Håland would join the club on 1 January 2019, signing a five-year contract.[11] On 19 July 2019, Håland scored his first hat-trick for the club in a 7–1 Austrian Cup win against SC-ESV Parndorf.[12] On 10 August 2019, Håland scored his first Austrian Bundesliga hat-trick for Red Bull Salzburg in a 5–2 win against Wolfsberger AC.[13] Håland scored his third hat-trick for Red Bull Salzburg on 14 September 2019, in a 7–2 victory over TSV Hartberg, taking his seasonal record to eleven league goals in seven games.[14] Three days later, on 17 September 2019, Håland scored a hat-trick in his 2019–20 UEFA Champions League debut against Genk in a 6–2 victory, his fourth overall for the club.[15]

International career
Håland has represented Norway at various age groups. With Norway U19,[16] on 27 March 2018 he scored a hat-trick against Scotland in a 5–4 victory to help Norway secure their qualification to the 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.[17]

On 22 July 2018, Håland scored for Norway U19 in a 1–1 draw against Italy in the 2018 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.[18]

On 30 May 2019, Håland scored nine goals in Norway U20's 12–0 win against Honduras U20 at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Lublin, Poland.[19][20] This was Norway U20's biggest ever win and Honduras U20's heaviest ever defeat. This also set a new U-20 World Cup record for most goals scored by a single player in a match, and also the biggest win by any team in the history of the tournament.[21]

After the impressive performance in 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, a good run of form with Red Bull Salzburg and scoring six goals in the first four games of the 2019–20 Austrian Bundesliga, on 28 August 2019 Håland was named by manager Lars Lagerbäck in the Norway senior team squad to face Malta and Sweden in 2020 Euro qualifying matches, and made his debut on 5 September 2019 against Malta.[22]

Personal life
Håland is the son of former Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Manchester City defender Alf-Inge Håland.[23] Håland was born in Leeds and supports Leeds United. In February 2017, in an interview with Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, Håland stated that "The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds."[24]

Fernando Ricksen

Fernando Jacob Hubert Hendrika Ricksen (27 July 1976[1] – 18 September 2019) was a Dutch professional footballer who played as a right back and right midfielder.

After winning Eerste Divisie titles with Fortuna Sittard and AZ, he joined Rangers for £3.75 million in 2000. In six years with the club from Glasgow, he won two Scottish Premier League titles, two Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups. He left in 2006 for Zenit Saint Petersburg, initially on loan, and won honours including the UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2008. He was dismissed by Zenit in 2009, and spent the final years of his career back at Fortuna Sittard. Internationally, he earned 12 caps for the Netherlands between 2000 and 2003.

Ricksen was elected to Rangers' Hall of Fame in 2014. He had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in his final years, and died at the age of 43

Ricksen endured a difficult start to his Rangers career, culminating in him being substituted after a torrid 21 minutes against countryman Bobby Petta in a 6–2 defeat to Celtic. On his second trip to Celtic Park six months later, he was sent off before half-time in another defeat. He had been dropped for the two intervening derbies.[2]

In November 2000 Ricksen became the first player in Scottish football to be banned retrospectively on television evidence.[3] His Kung Fu-style kick on Darren Young had been missed by the referee but caught on camera, leading to a five-game ban. Ricksen subsequently used his personal website to suggest Young required "straightening out."[4]

2003–04 proved to be a failed season for Rangers, with the departure of several players from the treble-winning season, including Barry Ferguson and Lorenzo Amoruso. Ricksen, however, proved to be an important member of the Rangers team which finished second, playing 42 games, despite several injury and disciplinary problems throughout the season. In October 2003 Ricksen pushed then Rangers chairman John McClelland into a swimming pool before a match against Panathinaikos in Athens.[5] The same week he was banned from the Netherlands national team for smashing a hotel door down after a night out.[5] After the events Rangers banned Ricksen from talking to the media and manager McLeish said "We would rather have Fernando on the back pages and we have told him that."[5]

In March 2004 Ricksen was again banned by the SFA video review panel. He had elbowed Derek Riordan in a CIS Cup defeat to Hibernian, resulting in a four-game ban and a £10,000 fine from his club.[6]

The highlight of Ricksen's career at Rangers came in the 2004–05 season seeing him jointly win the SPFA player of the year award after scoring nine goals from midfield in his 40 appearances for the club, helping Rangers to a league and league cup double.

It remained unclear whether Ricksen would be seen as a key member of the Rangers team under new manager Paul Le Guen for the 2006–07 season. An alcohol-fueled incident involving a passenger on Rangers' outbound flight to their pre-season camp in South Africa, led to Ricksen being sent home by Le Guen, who later described his behaviour as "inappropriate and unacceptable for the way in which I have asked my players to conduct themselves."[7]

On 30 March 2014, Ricksen was inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame along with Lee McCulloch and Nacho Novo.[8]

Zenit St Petersburg
Ricksen moved on loan to Zenit St Petersburg on a season long loan on 9 August 2006, the Russian club's manager being Dick Advocaat, who signed Ricksen for Rangers. Two weeks later he returned to Ibrox in a friendly between Rangers and Zenit and was booed after injuring Chris Burke with what was described as a reckless tackle.[9][10] Weeks later, Ricksen engaged in an on-field fist-fight with Zenit captain Vladislav Radimov.[11] On 28 November 2006, Zenit St Petersburg announced that they bought out Ricksen's transfer from Rangers. Despite this, Ricksen again fought with Radimov during a match in January 2007.[11] In January 2009, after two and a half years in Russia, Ricksen was demoted to Zenit's reserve side, having previously refused to leave the club. On 28 August 2009 FC Zenit terminated his contract because of Ricksen's constant disciplinary misbehaviours.[12]

Back at Sittard
After being without a club for more than a year, on 2 December 2010 Ricksen agreed to rejoin his childhood team Fortuna Sittard, involved in their battle to escape relegation from the Eerste Divisie, signing a contract till the end of the season.[13]

Personal life
On 25 December 2000 Ricksen was the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal after an incident when his car crashed into a lamppost in the early hours of the morning.[14] Ricksen denied charges of drink-driving, careless driving, committing a breach of the peace by shouting and swearing, and conducting himself in a disorderly manner.[15] At a trial in February 2003 Ricksen was found to have been twice over the limit and was convicted of drunk-driving, receiving a £500 fine and a 12-month driving ban.[15] He was acquitted of the other charges.[15]

In October 2003 Ricksen was fined £7,000 after being convicted of a breach of the peace and assault in relation to a drunken late-night house party he held the previous November.[16] Having initially denied the charges, in court Ricksen admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner, causing a breach of the peace, repeatedly igniting fireworks, shouting and swearing and then threatening and assaulting a neighbour who had complained.[11][17] During the 2004–05 football season, Ricksen abstained from alcohol.[18] In July 2006 Ricksen checked himself into the Sporting Chance Clinic for residential treatment relating to alcohol abuse and anger management.[19] For the previous six months he had been receiving out-patient treatment from the clinic.[20]

Ricksen's daughter Isabella was born in 2011. In 2014 Ricksen married Veronika, who is Russian.[21] A Documentary titled Fernando Ricksen: Hard Times[22] was aired on Sky Sports 1 on 3 May 2015. Ricksen was Catholic but later revealed his wish to convert to Orthodoxy.[23]

Death
On 30 October 2013, Ricksen revealed that he was terminally ill and had been diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (motor neurone disease).[24]

Ricksen died on 18 September 2019, aged 43.[25][26]

في عام 1355 هـ الموافق 1935م أُنشئت مصلحة الأشغال العامة والمعادن، وكانت تتبع آنذاك وزارة المالية، وفي عام 1372 هـ الموافق 1952م تم تأسيس المديرية العامة لشؤون البترول والمعادن وكانت تتبع وزارة المالية أيضاً، وفي عام 1380 هـ الموافق 1960 تم تحويل المديرية إلى وزارة تحت مسمى وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية، حيث كانت حكومة المملكة تسعى إلى تنظيم استثمار الموارد الطبيعية من بترول وغاز ومعادن. في عام 2016 تم تغيير اسم الوزارة إلى وزارة الطاقة والصناعة والثروة المعدنية. وفي 30 أغسطس 2019 غُيّرَ اسم وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية إلى وزارة الطاقة.

مهام الوزارة
الإشراف على أعمال الشركات البترولية العامة في المملكة، ومتابعة كل ما يخص الاستكشاف والتنقيب والإنتاج، وفق قواعد الأمن الاصطناعي والسلامة المعمول بها.
متابعة الدراسات والأبحاث المقدمة من الشركات العاملة وتحليلها وتقييمها، ومعرفة مدى الاستفادة منها في تطوير.
مراقبة إنتاج الزيت والغاز الطبيعي للتأكد من أن الكمية المنتجة مطابقة مع السياسات المحددة.
تدقيق حسابات الشركات البترولية للتأكد من إيرادات الدولة ومصروفات الشركات.
جمع وتحليل المعلومات وإعداد الدراسات الخاصة بالبترول وما يتعلق بالإنتاج والأسعار والعرض والطلب على البترول والطاقة البديلة محليا ودوليا.
المساهمة في إعداد الدراسات بالتعاون مع المنظمات والهيئات والندوات ذات العلاقة بقطاع البترول والطاقة البديلة.
إعداد الخرائط الخاصة بالبترول والطاقة والموارد المعدنية.
التعدين
أنشأت السعودية شركة للتعدين (معادن) في عام 1417هـ الموافق 1997م، كشركة مساهمة سعودية لها شخصية معنوية وذمة مالية مستقلة، حيث كانت الشركة مملوكة بالكامل للدولة قبل طرح 50% من أسهمها في عام 2008م للاكتتاب العام في سوق الأسهم السعودية (تداول). وتعد (معادن) إحدى الشركات السعودية الرئيسة لتنمية قطاع التعدين في المملكة، حيث تملك منجم مهد الذهب ومنجم الصخيبرات، ورخص تعدين الفوسفات وغيره، ورخص كشف عن كثير من المعادن النفيسة والمعادن الأساسية.

مشاريع الشركة
1- أكبر مجمع للأسمدة الفوسفاتية في العالم

يجري العمل عليه في حزم الجلاميد شمال المملكة، لنقله إلى مدينة رأس الخير الصناعية على الخليج العربي، لتصنيعه لإنتاج أسمدة فوسفاتية.

2- أضخم مجمع متكامل للألومنيوم في العالم

يشمل منتجات عالية التقنية والجودة، مثل صناعة أجزاء السيارات، والتغليف، والتشييد، والبناء.

3- مشروع الملك عبدالله لتطوير مدينة وعد الشمال للصناعات الفوسفاتية

وذلك بإنشاء البنية التحتية للمدينة الجديدة في شمال المملكة بكامل خدماتها وأعمالها الصناعية.

مراكز البحوث والمعاهد التدريبية
مركز الملك عبدالله للدراسات والبحوث البترولية (KAPSARC)
أنشأته الوزارة في عام 2007، بأمر من الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز، وهو مركز للأبحاث والسياسات المستقبلية المتعلقة باستكشاف وتحليل الأمور المرتبطة بالطاقة والبيئة، ويقع المركز في مدينة الرياض. ويسعى المركز من خلال النتائج الموضوعية التي يتوصل إليها إلى زيادة درجة فهم هذه الموضوعات وبدء إعداد الحلول التي ستساهم في تشكيل مستقبل الطاقة المستدامة في السعودية وفي العالم.

المعهد التقني السعودي لخدمات البترول
تم إنشاء المعهد التقني السعودي لخدمات البترول في عام 2008م، وذلك بمبادرة من وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية، وبرعاية كل من المؤسسة العامة للتدريب التقني والمهني، وشركة شيفرون العربية السعودية، وذلك للوفاء بمتطلبات صناعة البترول في المملكة، ولدعم سياسة السعودة بوصفها هدفاً وطنياً تسعى الحكومة إلى تحقيقه.

المعهد العالي للصناعات البلاستيكية
أحد المعاهد المتخصصة في تدريب الشباب السعودي في مجال الصناعات البلاستيكية، أنشئ المعهد fمبادرة من وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية، وهو معهد غير ربحي بين المؤسسة العامة للتدريب التقني والمهني، والشركة الشرقية للبتروكيماويات (شرق)، والشركة السعودية للتطوير البتروكيميائي، الشريك لشركة شرق – سابك، وتبلغ فترة التدريب بالمعهد أربعة فصول، يمنح بعدها المتدرب شهادة دبلوم في تصنيع البلاستيك، كما يتم التدريب داخل المعهد باللغة الإنجليزية، ويقدم المعهد دورات متخصصة لأولئك الذين يبحثون عن المزيد من التخصص لزيادة معارفهم ومهاراتهم في الصناعات البلاستيكية، بالإضافة إلى الدورات المتخصصة قصيرة الأمد، والتي تساعد العاملين في مجال تصنيع البلاستيك.

خالد الفالح

خالد بن عبد العزيز الفالح وزير الطاقة السعودي السابق في الفترة من 7 مايو 2016 وحتى 8 سبتمبر 2019، وقد كان قبل ذلك وزيراً للصحة من عام 2015 وحتى 2016، ورئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة تنمية الصادرات السعودية والرئيس التنفيذي السابق لشركة أرامكو السعودية، وهي الشركة التي تدير ثاني أكبر احتياطي مؤكد من الزيت في العالم كما أنها أكبر شركة منتجة للزيت الخام في العالم. ابن عبد العزيز الفالح نائب الرئيس السابق للشركة.
تعليمه
التحق الفالح بالعمل في الشركة في عام 1979م. و بعد فترة قصيرة، أبتعث للدراسة في جامعة تكساس أيه آند إم (A&M) ليحصل منها على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية عام 1982م. و قد واصل الفالح دراسته وحصل على درجة الماجستير في عام 1991م في تخصص إدارة الأعمال من جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن بالظهران، المملكة العربية السعودية، كما أنه يحمل درجة الدكتوراه الفخرية من المعهد الكوري المتقدم للعلوم والتقنية.

مناصبه
في يوليو 1999م، تولى الفالح وظيفة رئيس شركة بترون، المشروع المشترك بين أرامكو السعودية وشركة البترول الوطنية الفلبينية (تم بيع شركه بتورن). و قد كان للفالح دور مهم في المباحثات التي تمت بين حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية وشركات الزيت العالمية فيما يتعلق بمبادرة الغاز الطبيعي التي أطلقتها المملكة، والتي أفضت في النهاية إلى توقيع أربعة عقود بين حكومة المملكة وأرامكو السعودية وعدد من كبرى شركات الزيت العالمية.

وفي مطلع عام 2003م، عُين خالد الفالح نائباً للرئيس لقطاع عمل جديد، تحت مسمى تطوير الأعمال الجديدة. وفي أبريل 2004، عُين نائباً للرئيس للتنقيب، وذلك قبل تعيينه نائباً أعلى للرئيس لأعمال الغاز في أغسطس 2004م. كما شغل الفالح بعد ذلك منصب النائب الأعلى للرئيس للعلاقات الصناعية في أكتوبر 2005م.

وإلى جانب منصب رئيس مجلس إدارة أرامكو السعودية، يشغل منصب رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة التعدين العربية السعودية (معادن). ومنصب رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية للجبيل وينبع، وصندوق التنمية الصناعية السعودي، والهيئة السعودية للمدن الصناعية ومناطق التقنية (مدن)، وهيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية، ومدينة الملك عبدالعزيز للعلوم والتقنية، ومدينة الملك عبدالله للطاقة الذرية والمتجددة، وهيئة تنمية الصادرات السعودية.

تم إعفاؤه من منصبه في عهد الملك سلمان عام 1441 هـ

ينضم الفالح كعضو في كل من:البرنامج الوطني لتطوير التجمعات الصناعية، والمؤسسة العامة للتدريب التقني والمهني، وجمعية النفط والغاز التابعة للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي التي يرأسها، ومجلس الأعمال الآسيوي، ومجلس جي بي مورغان العالمي، ومجلس الأعمال الدولي التابع للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي. والجمعية الأمريكية للمهندسين الميكانيكيين، والاتحاد الدولي لاقتصاديات الطاقة، ونادي أوكسفورد لاقتصاديات الطاقة.
