Motichoor Chaknachoor is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Debamitra Biswal and produced by Rajiv and Kiran Bhatia.[1][2] Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles and follows the story of a 36 year old man trying to find a wife.[3] The film also stars Vibha Chibber, Navni Parihar, Vivek Mishra, Karuna Pandey, Sanjeev Vats, Abhishek Rawat, Sapna Sand and Usha Nagar in supporting roles.[4]
Debamitra had filed a commercial arbitration petition on Bombay High Court which had ordered a stay on the release of its trailer, over non-payment of dues by the makers of the film Woodpecker Movies Private Limited; the stay was later lifted.[3] The film was released on 15 November, 2019.[5]n

The official trailer of the film was unveiled by Viacom18 Studios on 11 October 2019.[8] Trailor went viral on youtube just after the release, Audiences very much liked the trailer of the film. The chemistry and acting of Nawazuddin and Athiya Shetty were on point. Maximum viewers were saying that Athiya Shetty has improved a lot.
